Enjoy a relaxing evening bayside! Join us on the Rum Runners deck for a night of dueling pianos with your D7 favorites! For your convenience, resort shuttles will be running to and from the hotel to Baytowne where you’ll simply follow the fun to our location.

Keynote Speaker Tom Cocke, Group CD, The Buntin Group multi ADDY and Copywriter of the Year winner
What does it take to create and judge award-winning advertising? This guy knows the ins and outs from both sides of the judge’s pen. After a failed attempt at a career in architecture, Tom graduated from – then later taught at – The Portfolio Center. He worked on Delta Air Lines account at BBDO in Atlanta, as well as Cracker Barrel and Goody’s Headache Powders at The Buntin Group in Nashville.
The One Show, CA, Clios, OBIES, EMMYs, National ADDYs, London International and the Jay Chiat Awards have all recognized his work. He’s judged the Effie Awards, HATCH, the National Student ADDYs and the National American Advertising Awards; AAF Nashville has named him Copywriter of the Year three times. Learn to be a winner from this winner.

More than clever words, this session is the title of Connie McLeod’s 2018 book which provides insight on how readers can find the creative roots within. With 30+ years as a Creative Director to her credit, this speaker and longtime District 7 friend will share stories of her personal journey and help you better identify insight to your creative self.

Nobody wants to be in a traditional Hospitality Suite when salty breezes and sand are just a few steps away. So, we’re taking it to the beach. Join us beachside following Mouth of the South for complimentary drinks straight from the D7 coolers! You are also welcome to bring your personal drink of choice, but NO GLASS BOTTLES/CONTAINERS are allowed.
