Advertising pros from five states will gather to win gold and silver ADDY awards for various award categories.

Knoxville, TN (April 8, 2015) – The American Advertising Federation District 7 will hold their annual awards ceremony, the American Advertising Awards, April 10, 2015 at the Hilton Downtown Knoxville. Winners will attend from across five states with the hopes of walking away with gold and silver awards from dozens of categories in advertising from digital, to outdoor, to print.
At 6:30 pm guests will enjoy cocktails, lite fare, music and door prizes before the award ceremony begins at 7:30. The media is invited to attend the awards ceremony to interview winners and guests.

We’re excited to host the regional AAF American Advertising Awards ceremony this year,” Amanda Lewis, AAF Knoxville President and Account Director for the Tombras Group said. “We’re looking forward to showcasing the winning advertising design work and honoring various ad agencies, corporations, nonprofits, media companies, schools and students for their hard work and dedication to what these awards stand for: creativity, ingenuity and effort,” Lewis added.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the District 7-regional phase is the second of a three-tier, national competition. Regional businesses and students entered locally across Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee in January to win one of the prestigious awards among their local clubs. Those winning gold and silver were eligible to move on to the regional competition. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.

The national competition will be held in Las Vegas in June 13, 2015.
