American Advertising Federation District Conference Coming to Nashville
Nashville, TN (July 31, 2015) – For the first time in since 1999, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) will be holding its district leadership conference in Nashville. District 7, known as D7, consists of AAF clubs in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The conference will take place August 20-23 at the Millennium Maxwell House and includes a keynote speech from Jeremy Tucker, Nissan’s Vice President, Marketing Communications and Media. Tucker was instrumental in Nissan securing naming rights to Nissan Stadium (formerly LP Field).
“This conference will be one of the largest gatherings of marketing communications pros,” states David Jacobs, AAF District 7 Governor. “AAF members from five states will spend two days together to grow their careers and connect with each other. It’s a unique and valuable experience.”
Many of Nashville’s advertising agencies, including BOHAN and Redpepper, will take part in the conference, which will host more than 120 of the most creative minds in advertising. The conference will feature a Club Leadership Boot Camp, an intense day of training which will cover everything members need to know to be an effective leaders in AAF, including specific ways to set goals and will offer hands-on activities to help attendees plan the upcoming year for their local clubs.
